Brushes are monotoned, compared to C4D's Which have a wider spectrum of color and details. Plus, it takes more skill to use than just clicking away in random patterns trying to cover the background.V0Lt4Ge wrote:That's what I was thinking. I can't dispute that, I used them last year at school. But I don't have 1000 dollars floating around in my house (only 30 :O). And I'm not going to save up and buy them just so people on a website will like my sigs lol, I'll stay with brushes ithankyew.RaVNzCRoFT wrote:Cinema 4D and Bryce were definitely worth the money.

Eww. I'll stay with my C4D's thanx.gh0570fchurch wrote:Well, brushes can still be used in creative ways...
Examples:
(For the second one, I mean the blood, not the background)
(I used some brushes for the matrix effect in the background, combined with a render I found using Google)
And here's a brushed sig from way back I found=0

lol I'm not saying those were good (they're actually quite old), I'm just saying that brushes can be used in other and more creative ways than making backgrounds.Cuda wrote:Eww. I'll stay with my C4D's thanx.

dudes, I barely even use c4d anymore, yeah they are good, but many people can make it good without it too.
lets compare just to tell you why brushes aren't so good:
flashback time with some of my brush stuff from over a year ago:

vs tags with some c4d (like 1 or 2):

vs tags with no c4d:

weigh your options well, and yeah it doesn't matter what you did in the tag as long as it looks good, except if you made a stock tag and added a little dot and called it your own then that's something else

No, you're didn't understand what I meant.Cuda wrote:Because, unlike Brushes, where you can download them, and click randomly, you have to place each render in a portion of a sig where it will complement the rest of it. For the higher up part, you actually have to create these renders.
If something looks pleasing, then why does it matter how hard it was to make?
I guess my speculation on all of this must have something to do with my lack of PS knowledge, but I'd still like to know anways.
