Yeah, I was trying to not insult Truelife and his grammar. He uses excellent grammar when he p osts. I personally don't have the best grammar, but for some reason having the apostrophe bothered me. I figured instead of saying "get rid of the apostrophe on "Idea's" I would give the reason behind why it should be omitted.

Thanks though, Tural. I really don't know why it bothered me the way it did.

Ok, here is a new idea/suggestion that I want.

Combine a lot of the similar forums!

Misc. Xbox mods and Xbox Maps can be combined.
New users click here and Tech Questions can be combined.
Halo 2 Downloads and Halo 2 skins downloads can be combined.
Etc...

IMO, this would help eveyone. For the users it would be a lot less to look through to find what you need. For people like MrBalll who answer questions 24/7, there wouldn't be TWO forums to answer questions in, but only ONE. And the biggest it helps for is the poor moderators who have to go through each and every post to make sure its not bad content. With this there is much less stuff to go through.

I'm sure its a bad idea in some way, but I think it can do more good than bad.

I am opposed to the consolidation of the forums you mentioned. Halo Maps, from what I understand, is for the posting of newly-created maps (I may be wrong on this). Halo Mods is for modified versions of the original maps.

The skins section I think should also stay independent of the Downloads section. Otherwise the downloads section would be cluttered up with simple vehicle skins, weapon skins, and un-modded map skins.

As for the New Users and Tech Questions: I'm unfamiliar with both of these forums because I rarely visit them. I can't give an honest opinion on these, though I feel they have their purposes.

This theme is the only theme compatable with the emblem system... Thats why they changed it...

There are several mods which are best supported by this theme, using other themes would require programming all of the installed mods into them. It isn't going to happen, just deal with it.

And? So because you don't care about something, the entire forum shouldn't use it? And what about the report system?

There will be no new themes in the near future. More than likely, never. You're just going to have to face it. It has been brought up dozens of times, it is not going to happen. End of themes discussion.

Tural, the whole point of this thread is for people to submit their ideas on how HaloMods could change for the better, so you can't dismiss somebodies idea just because it's not for them to decide, if you look at it that way then nobodies posts here are valid. We know it's not our place to decide, which is why we're submitting ideas, not demanding it.
