[Game] Dead End!

This place needs to liven up a bit, so I've decided to piece together a little game for you guys. I'm writing up several clues and hiding them all over the forum. It will be your job to decode the clues that will lead you to your next destination.

Game Rules

- This game takes place only on the Users Forum.
- You may not receive help from anyone other than myself. If I get proof from someone that you have sought help from any outside source, you will be disqualified.
- If you're feeling stumped, you may PM me asking for help. You must tell me the number on the image you last found, and then I will give you a more helpful clue to the next step. Limit two "hints" per person. Use them wisely.
- Clues are well-hidden. Look anywhere you can. These clues are the "Halo easter eggs" of Halomods. They will not necessarily be easy to find.
- The game ends on Friday, November 17, at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. If you have finished the game, claim your prize by following the information at the last clue. Once you have won, do not post here saying that you have. A list of winners will be revealed after the game has ended.
- You may use Google or any other informative sources you'd like.
- There are eight total images (clues).
- For every clue you find, you will receive a letter. Once you have found the final clue, unscramble all eight letters to reveal the password. It shouldn't be that hard to unscramble.
- To make sure you didn't just guess the password or figure it out with just a few letters, you must PM me the winning password along with the picture of the final clue. This shows me that you actually went through all eight pictures.
- The winner of Dead End! will receive a custom user title along with some extra prizes to be announced.

Feel free to use this thread to ask people what clue they're on or to talk about which clue you're having difficulty with. Remember to try your very hardest! You will only get two "helpful hints"!

So what are you waiting for? Let the game begin!
Remember, you have only completed a clue when you have found the image and you can find out its meaning!

edit: i just searched through 17 straight pages, every single thread i could find... all this searching makes me feel like i need to be organized and it makes my head hurt :O

maybe the prizes shouldnt be too big since people can go through it so quickly.

but pretty soon people will get better and everyone will like catch up with ravnzcroft... so i think you should make them not just like posts or w/e, but make them be at places you would never even guess to look at.. like the rules? hahaha... im off to play GW..

What do you mean catch up? He placed all 8 before he made this thread. There's only 8 clues, it's not an ongoing number.

I have updated a rule. If you have completed the challenge, don't forget to PM me a link to the last image and give me the password. Once you have finished, don't post here saying it. I'm going to put a time limit on this game and reveal all the winners when the game is over. If you already know that someone has won, please don't say it.

Don't forget, you can always use your "helpful hints" if you need help! You have two of them!
