I do need an Xbox, but I am not buying this iPod, I have no choice except between an iPod Nano or Video.

But I do a lot of stuff and I have iPods everywhere I do. I can't choose. =[

Get the Video, it holds much more music than the best Nano (8 Gb).

ok, cut the $147 and lose quality, Video, and 10 Times the Capacity just because its "huge". Its like 2/3 the size of a Standard T1 Scientific Calculator. But Color Screen, and MOVIE capability. Even if you put the modded video codecs in the Nano, it can only do 5-8 Minutes of video, when the Video iPod requires no modding and can do hours of footage.

If you want a bigger screen and the iPod not to snap in half when you kneel down, I would recommend the Video.

Well, Apparently, you aren't really open for suggestions from people that know what they are talking about, or interested in the technologically superior so how about this, go get a small 1GB iPod Shuffle for 79 bucks. No flashy crap. Just Music. No Podcasts, no mods, no screen, and I believe the new one comes with a clip so you can wear it.

And to answer your question for the last time, Nano, or Video, since you seem to dislike the Video for its size, get a Nano. Comes in Blue, Green, Silver, Black, Red, Pink, and the Limited edition Red one. Comes in 3 sizes, 2 GB, 4GB, and 8GB. (2 and 4 if you want the slightly smaller and older model Piano Finished ones that come in black and white.)
