1UP Gave it a 10/10

Removing the hard drive stopped the 3 red lights, however it still blacked out in game and in the dashboard.

For those of you excited about this game still...don't be.

The multiplayer is horrible and based 99% on luck. I had a match where I got a down, a curbstomp, and 2 chainsaw kills. The next match (same people, configurations, level, everything) I died at the very start.

The Boomshot is the worst excuse for a balanced weapon ever. I could understand it being a 2 shot weapon with a 1 shot clip if it actually killed in one hit, but no, it doesn't. I picked it up, took a shot at a guy and hit him dead on...no kill, no down, nothing. So I reload and get a perfect reload which supposedly gives more damage...I hit another guy dead on...still nothing.

And better yet, in the time it takes me to switch my weapon so I could actually do something, he's already roadie-running towards me with his chainsaw revved.

Do yourself a favor and don't get this game. I'm sorry for giving this game any hype, and as negative as I'm seeming, you really need to listen and give this a rent before you buy it...you may not like it.

Yes, I'm being serious. This is the worst, most overhyped game I have ever played. I am incredibly disappointed in Epic...they took a major step backwards with this one.

I just played it at my friend's house (xK4Mx Shadow) and used the boom shot. It blew the guy up in the air and it just rained peices of his body

I honestly hope you are joking, this is one of the funnest games I've played. Definatley my favorite on the Xbox 360 so far.

1) No, I'm not kidding, why the fuck would I be? You need to read my posts more buddy.
2) That's nice. It didn't do shit when I used it twice. It wasn't even too great in campaign.
3) Funnest? I think you mean most fun...and there's a lot better games on 360.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that while playing on Mausoleum, I discovered an exploit in the game for invincibility. There's certain places you can stand inside where your bullets can go out, but others can't shoot through.

Ok from my experiance of playing gears of war to act 3 in co-op with a friend the game was sweet!
And only mode is really just about tricking ur enemy and having fast reflexes.... chain sawing people!!!!
but for the most part of the time I've played this game, I loved it. not "greatest game EVER!" but I thought it was in the top 5 no doubt(probably top 3)

yes, the game is very misunderstood. You play in 3rd person and the camera angle is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to the right of your person. Do that on halo 2 with yelo - and thats gears of war 4 ya

I know parts of that are my opinion. But many people seem to agree:

1) There is a lack of server options. For example, you can't change a map unless you put your server on cycle, or restart your server.
2) The Boomshot is the most underpowered Rocket Launcher ever. It's ok for a weapon to be balanced, but this just isn't even worth picking up.
3) Too...many...kids with mics.

I played gears of war today. I am not going to rui8n everything for you. It is AWSOME though.

And call of duty 3 has turned in battlefield 3 basically, that si all i am going to say.

ya call of duty 3 looked worth getting and after the turn out of gears of war..... that call of duty 3 is looking pretty good.
BTW is is just me or is halo 3 reminding you of battlefield 2142 is some little ways?(that would be sweet)
I like gears of war I've wanted it since before the 360 came out.... or sum time right around there. There are some little errors, that an update and content download can't fix!

Gears is way fun in my point of view.
Gta and myself beat the campaign on Hardcore, which isn't that hard... really..

The story kinda jumps around, but it does keep you going.
At least people don't see you through walls, unlike Double Agent. >_>

But there was no secks. None! This upsets me.
Also, there is WAY too much man juice going on. I mean, four guys killing monsters, not taking showers, joking with each other, underground in caves for extended periods of time.. it's not right. xD

This game is definately different than most shooters. You should really give it a try if you are uncertain, but if you even thought GRAW was neat, you should like this one.
(I hated GRAW multiplayer. Gears is similar, but.. better.. It's really a different feeling.
You most definately need to give it a try. Great buy in my opinion. [And I'm always right. ;p])

Well I'm somewhat shocked at GTAF's opinion, although when a game is hyped that much, it's bound to happen.

Oh well I've already pre-ordered it, see you on the 17th.
