Check out this work in progress ;)!
I think that I'm gunna call it "Bridge over troubled water." It won't be a huge level though. maybe a little bigger then battle creek.
here is is getting there:
I'll be done with it soon! This is the simple mesh, I will subdivide it toward the end of it's completion.
The bridge isn't done yet though. It is just a quick thing i made in 3dsmax though. All the rest is done in maya. I will have to do a considerable amount of tweaking to the level to make it right so that there isn't any spawn killing or unfair advantages.

yah, i have made levels for games before (like counterstrike and unreal tournament 2k3/2k4 and unreal 2). i am basically laying out the rough draft of the level. the actual "BSP" or terrain i will get finalized soon. things like the bridge or the tree that i will be adding will be made as a piece of interchangeable scenery. if i can, i might make a waterfall or something. basically it will be fun
and thats all that matters

as far as i know, there isnt going to be any ability to make new vehicles or weapons. i thought that this is strictly just a map maker. anyways, this is goint to be like a battle creek/blood gulch like setting. i think im going to add a waterfall somewhere, either by the bridge, the "pond" or on the other side of the map leading to the pond via a creek

well originally back a while ago, they were thinking of releasing the sdk. not the full source, the sdk. so people could make mods with different sounds, people, weapons. for example: counterstrike off of half life. i wish that they would release the modable engine damnit. i dont feel like making an engine all the way from scratch.
