If you can't change the gravity, why not change all the weapon weights and the jump height and the bloc weights and such?

And correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the muffled sounds controller by the snde (sound environment)? I know Dutchmen got it working in The forgotten room.

As there's no sound in a vaccuum anyway, the only sounds you'd "hear" (more like vibrations you'd feel, considering) would be from sources you're in direct contact with or in contact via a medium in between such as air.

No gravity would be cool, if you could do it... and has anyone else thought that Ranger Elites woul really suit this map?

editing weapon weights and bloc weights won't give them low gravity properties. there's a value in the phmo somewhere that'll make it float, but thats too extreme.

the muffled sounds x0880x talks about, is used by a script in singleplayer. i've tried the scripts but it's giving a weird sound. editing a SNDE like dutchman did, will most likely give the best results.

i blocked off the areas that are pretty much useless. i've set my own piece of bsp possible for the best possible gameplay :)
the first pic shows the map layout from a distance, from the cairo room.

Looks great, maybe you should change the properties Dwells said, thats the closest you could really get.

Use the same snde from the SP level...dont use others...

I agree with slayer though, he did figure it out and was kind enough to have it spread a little so saying you would have found it anyway is mean :(

basically that restoring technique is what i have been using in all of my other mods, with or without someone's help i would've fixed it on my own.

i disabled it.. the sounds in the JMAD are not called, however the EFFE on the gun did work, looked pretty awesome though.. but missing sounds is enough to make it not moving.

I don't want credit, yet I want smacktalker to shutup. If he truly could find out why bsps freeze then he should be able to make all the bsps- the injectable ones- have no freezing issues, correct? Let's see you find the other things that cause freezing issues, I mean seeing as you would have found them anyway.

Mod for fame. Then maybe your mods won't suck. [/shameless stoling of TSF's saying] ---just kidding, btw. I personally don't value "fame" in an online community.

That's really too bad about the mac gun. That could make a huge difference between a really good mod and a freakin' awesome one. So how was the sound referenced in SP? Would it have just been part of the scenario, then? If so, wouldn't it be possible to do that in the MP scnr? Or add a chunk to the jmad to reference it?

I won't even go there.... like I've said countless fuckin times, the reason I don't release anything I make is mainly because of two things.
1. I really just plain out, don't want to be known... I have my reasons.
2. I don't want eight year olds' im'ing me, asking me to hold their hand through making a patch, or more or less, complex things- that would be if I released stuff.
And smacktalker, like I've said, in this topic, all I want is for you to lose the big head. Don't you think if I wanted credit, I would have publicly released the information? On top of that, I wouldn't release the info anyways for sake the possibility of me misinforming an entire community. And truly, what you've done, is a form of leaking- in other words, just stop while your ahead.
