map bsp modling!

Post by superman »

If i export the colision model in entity to a .OBJ I can edit it in milk shape then import it back using entity, but just the colision changes. I want to be able to also edit the bsp visual mesh so i can actually see the colision i made!

please help me do this,

No. Entity does not support coll .OBJ injection yet. Just exporting it. Hopefully in the future it will support it. Then we could finally have the right coll for injected models. *If you didn't know coll is collision*

Both of you are talking about seperate things. Scynide is talking about collision for objects(Bipds, scen, bloc etc..)

superman is talking about BSP collision and BSP visual. Nothing to do with what you were saying Scynide.

You have to extract the visual BSP by clicking "export meshes to .OBJs"(not "export mesh to .OBJ"), edit them, and then click "inject BSP Visual Mesh" and select the folder you extracted them to.

You can't inject a visual mesh, no one has figured that out yet, have fun when halo 2 Vista comes out!
