Pete wrote:Nice tutorial! I'm still having some problems with map rebuilding, though. Whenever I rebuild a map, the rebuilt map file ends up being 10 times the size of the origional map file (even when I don't add additional files). I'm using the trial version of Halo if that makes a difference. Does anyone know what the hell that I'm doing wrong?
I don't think you can rebuild with the trial...But I maybe wrong...

You're probably right, Templar. I guess I'll have to wait unitl I buy the full version. Until then I won't be able to make anything except for projectile swaps :( ... sigh.

What if you wanna inject something else...how do u know which files to add? For example, what if i wanted to do the beam emitter from infinity?

lol just extract the going-to-be-modded map, then recursively save the beam emitter info in the same folder that you extracted the map. then just rebuild, including the important file (the one that you saved), in this case beam_emitter.proj.meta, or whatever its called.
