weapon modelling, does it need 2 b closed?
weapon modelling, does it need 2 b closed?
im just wondering if when u model a weapon does it have to be the same as when you model a map, does it have to be a closed world? or can you have like seperate objects that are seperate from the whole thing?

You don't need to follow sealed world because you don't normally make a collision model.
None of my older models even for vehicles were sealed - they had a separate model for the collision.
Only collision models and BSPs need to follow Sealed World Rules - and that's just because bungie was dumb when making the collision plane allocation. There really is no reason why you can't have open edges.
