Halo CE Trouble

Every time I boot up Halo CE. I get an error message saying "Please insert the correct Halo CD-ROM". Can any one help me with this.

You have to insert the Halo PC CD-Rom...

You have to own Halo PC to play CE. That's kinda the whole point of CE in the first place. To promote the original game.

with a little work i got halo custom edition to work with out the original copy of the game
