360 controller to xbox1

Post by QMan »

Do you think it would be possible to make a 360 controller fit a xbox, as in somehow taking a xbox 360 wired controller cut the end off and fit it to a xbox1 controller end, I think if you do it right (connect the right wires together) I would think all the bottons would work exept the "Xbox menu botton"

I'd rather have my S-controller on my 360, but then there's no guide button :-(

However, I suppose there might be some way to do it, but I'd ask over at Xbox Scene they'd probably be way more knowledgeable.

1: google it. someone's probably tried already
2: research it. see if you can find out what the wires in the cord of each of the controllers are for. maybe you can devise a way to do that.

other than that, i haven't a clue.

My guess is that some company is making a new universal controller adapter or something. I had one for my PS2 and I was playing GTA with an Xbox controller.

unless your willing to pay for a new controller i would NOT reccomend splicing your controller wires, because it would be really hard to get them to work

It works for things like mouse and keyboard,. but it won't work with a 360 controller.
