I'll repost my idea for a memorial to Xavier (which nobody's done yet

):

Someone should post a Spartan in some sort of heroic pose, take their helmet off, and if anyone knows what his face looked like, then put it there. Then make a nice podium, and put it into a CE map as a nice little token of remembrance.

We could do it for both of them in the one map, I think that would be a really nice and fitting tribute.

Santium isnt dead
he was lying he got his wife to call ac and tell him he was dead
but yea
a memorial for xavier would be nice

well when i still had my 3ds max trial i made a scene with the cheifs helmet off hes crouching and the helmet is under his shoulder then i injected a marine head positioned it then skinned it to have blond hair
and it looks pretty good
ill see if i can transfer it to a .3ds and work on it in gmax

was it a max 7 trial? if it was, 8 is out. and 9 is coming soon.

im pretty sure i used up all the trials
ill check when i can get on my maine computer

is there any way to make the MC's visor transparent so you can see the face inside?

Apply a semitransparent material (for a render) or shader (for Halo).

No, the material is only if you're rendering in max. For an ingame model you use a shader instead, like the hog windscreen with a different reflection, for example.

I've done that before. You don't see his face at all. It just makes a hole in his visor and you see out the back of his head. He has no face. And if santium actually did lie... then that is very immature and he should be ashamed of himself.

we dont need a memorial for a clan, becuase many do die out.

Someone needs to draw two SPARTANs, back to back, with their hemlates off, one being Xavier, the other Santium. He will forever be remembered, just as will Xavier.

Everyone: It was all a SCAM! He's a liar, Ramzi took the time to prove it for us.

He wasn't 29, he didn't have a wife, he didn't have two kids. He was a 17 year old chronic liar who got a female friend to impersonate his "wife" to give himself a cheap laugh. And no one is forgiving him for it.
