Ahh, that's very true and it's totally up to you considering it's your map ^_^, but I like it a lot like that, I think it looks nice and from the pictures it isn't that reflective.

If this map is successful, definitely. In the event that I do make more, I think they would take less time, seeing as I've learned so much while working on this map. When I started this map(5 months ago, exactly), I knew relatively little, compared to what I know now.

Just turn down the reflectiveness a bit.. and the vent should be fine.

Vents are usually galvanised. Basically makes them have silver-grey shiny/nonshiny patches in a sort of mosaic.

Take away shinyness?

Use a non shiney tag lag shader_environment.If you are using shader_model just go to the bottom and turn it off :roll: :wink:

I think it looks better when it is every other step, every step looks too cramped.
