Everything in the universe emits radiation (yourself included). However most things don't emit anywhere near dangerous levels of it.

Your post was even spammier than mine. GG. >_>

Apparently a person at rest radiates about as much heat as a 75W lightbulb. :o

Or if they're on fire themselves.

I think it's over a time period of an hour or something though, which makes more sense.

hey guys, i'm glad it's low radiation, i'm the one using it. although the fact that they have to put that there is sorta discomforting... lol.

oh, you can read hebrew? what do the characters on my keyboard mean? well, what i mean is is it phonetic or what?

I think that low radiation thing means the nuke kind of raditaion, not the heat kind of radiation.

no, because radiation is just energy. by low radiation, i'm posotive it just means "low EMI" as opposed to "low(er) gamma ray output".

sounds like a paperweight

edit: sorry if the bump annoys you, but now's the soonest i can get some pics of networking class. what isn't shown is the boxes of CAT-5 cable and shelves of computers, monitors, and various components behind me. maybe i'll get a pic of that too if you guys want.

here's a pic of the 3 router stacks we've got. well, they're not all routers; there's some switches thrown in there, but it doesn't much matter, there's just ALOT of huge equipment there. it's all 19" rack-mounted hardware, so this is the serious stuff. needless to say the room is kept pretty cold.

here's a close-up of the farthest rack. note all those open ethernet ports, as well as the serial ports. my teacher described the year final as having as large a network as possible set up, with a few problems buried in there we need to find. i'll get pics for you guys.

it's so much more than it sounds. the start is easy stuff if you already know basic networking, like tracert and ping (we did that lab last week, easy stuff). but it's gonna be a pretty hardcore class. programming routers, ACLs, the works. i believe it's CCNA prepatory.

i think it's to prepare us for our CCNA. i'm not 100% sure because i'm not looking at the syllabus right now, but i'm 90% sure i'm right. but before i get my CCNA, i need to get A+. which brings up an old topic: anyone here taken the A+ exam, and what can you tell me about it?
