Never run out of gas.

Post by a mammoth »

OK, after school today I had the most extreme experience... my brother's conversion van ran out of gas. But heres the full spill.
We were at a stop light, going to get gas after school (the meter had been on empty when we went to school) and then the engine started to make funny noises and the car started shaking I was like "Derick (who is my brother) we're out of gas, feel the car shaking?", then the engine turned off my brother was like "shit", luckily we were on a down hill but at an intersection. So we start rolling once the light turns green, but we don't have enough speed to go over the hump in the middle of the intersection so Derick is like "Get out and push", So I jump out of the car while still in the middle of the intersection, push it so it starts rolling down the hill, then run to catch up with it hold onto the side, then climb in the window, it was fun. Then my brother starts complaining that he doesn't have power steering or breaks, and he broke a sweat turning into the parking lot. Probably one of the most fun things ever. But the moral of this post is, never run out of gas, I was in a relatively good situation, because we had a hill going down to a parking lot plus my brother has some awesome friends that decided to come and get us a can of gas.

I thought you were gonna say a way to never run out of gas. Sounds like a cool experience though.

If that were possible, he'd be a billionaire already.

Anyway, sounds like an interesting occurrence.

I'm not going to bike to school. I have to go down one huge hill, then go up another not to mention there a a bridge in between them that doesn't have a walkway for pedestrians. Oh yea and its a highway.

Funny thing my car almost ran out of gas on the way home too, I swear it was half full like 3 days ago, then suddenly I look today and its beyond the lowest it can go... lucky my school is only like 2 miles from a gas station.

My friend was driving and we stopped for gas. Her car has a 10 gallon capacity and it filled up to 9.998 gallons

yea, it had 0.002 gallons left. It would have been interesting if it ran out when we were in the intersection...

Oh now I get it, I was stupid . Anyways you know when your car is about to run out of gas plus I'm assuming that its a small car, not a conversion van, so it would be relatively easy to push.
