not just the pipeline, if you enlarge a few of the cache's you can start downloading more things at once. so if you're internet connection is fast enough you will load pages quicker.

offtopic, does anybody else's firefox lag when you're downloading stuff?

EDIT: Actually, now that I've downloaded something with this beta, it does lag, pretty weird considering it never used to lag for me before on the old version...
