Well if you throw a plasma grenade on a corpse in chiron and then teleport out before it blows it will be a proximity mine for the next person to enter the room. It would be faily difficult to make real proximity mines though :( . But you knew that.

Wow, this mod brings back memories. Goldeneye used to be my favorite game. What reminds me most is the triangular walkway. I wish you could have the walls be different colors, though, thats how I remembered how to get around.

its also on perfect dark "that ones better than the goldeneye version", anyways can u make one like this for pc, and not just xbox, that'd rule

i agree everything in perect dark was better than golden eye... it was basicly a sequal.

i had a bunch of comments i made at HS about this mod when it was released.... but i can seem to veiw em anymore.. ill post em again later if i cant find originals.

Perfect Dark was a kickass game... they should release it on PC with the same controls as halo with better graphics that would be sweet :D

Remember the combat simulator? i loved that thing with all the Darksims and Perfect sims and how Meatsims couldn't aim for crap.... memories... whoa, i just remembered, i still have it! *runs off and connects N64 that hasn't been connected for over 3 years*

I didn't like the blurred vision in PD, esp even after you died and respawned. It should go away after you die. Otherwise the game is great with bots, 2ndary fire and random weapons.

hey lagsalot? do you have an expansion pack? if u dont perfect dark ABSOLUTELY SUCKS without it.....but i got one :) :P hehe. Oh, how do u beat the last level on that game, i cant figure out just how to kill that last alien *evil alien* leader dude. You know, the one that cloacks and teleports and shoot rockets when its 3cm away from your head :shock:


btw, the way that the vision blurrs after u die does suck.


im bored.......REALLY BORED......i think im gonna go try to beat that last level lol................*3 hours later*....i died a billion times....jesus....omg....this is a hard game, its just as good as halo, gameplay wise, but not graphic wise.


*an hour later* i lost again....i think you can tell im bored right now so ill stop typing this and hit submit.

i think thats why microsoft took Rare cuz it had so much potential with pereft dark and coulda easily been hard compitition for another system.(nintendo)

but back to tha subject... i rem saying in my older comments that there is a OS in on of the walls, too get it out u nade and rocket the wall. umm a shotty falls thru ground.. ummmm o yea i got back down to bg and was pleased to find out that the portals will take u right back up. i also suggested u put 1 light above the whole map and just make it realy bright and maybe add a bit of color to tha map. i also said how i was working on this too (very early stages) then i came to find out u did it lol. yea the temple and facility (falicity*PD*) would be so sick to have in halo. i found ways on top of the map too just to see 1st hand wut it looked like. it was fun but took forever cuz i didnt use any cheats or nothin and i had to nade jump 2 times and 1 rocket jump when i got os.

Good suggestions, thanks Stunna. I'd love to add another light source to the map to kinda even the shadows out. I know how to get rid of the sun, but what would be an easy to make a similar light source?

Version 2.0 is coming soon, I've got the secrets working pretty nicely and I changed the wall textures a bit (still not perfect but I think its a nice change)

Unfortunetly I'm working alot so I don't know exactly when I'll be releasing it.

Also I don't mean to hate, but I DON'T HAVE HALO PC!!!! So please stop asking me to translate this map anymore. I mean honestly, read the original post.

noooo wtf u take out the secret OS for? o well i like it but it seems window room has a new visual bug.. it looks 100x better tho witht he walls and all. yo a cool secre room(maybe even flag room) would be a portal to the bases of BG with all exits blocked off.

what visual glich in the window room(and which window room?)? Your idea about the bases for CTF sounds pretty cool actually, I'll mess around with that.

Also the secret OS might still be in there. And if it is, don't go telling people where it is this time.

o the window room where there is a hole in the floor. when u 1st walk up ramp and doa 180 trun u will see the window wall dissapears.

Yeah I figured that's what you meant. I can't really do much more about that unless you want me to reduce the clip plane further, but I think its reduced to much already.
