How do i make AI spawn in SP?

How do i make it so i could make a plasma pistol spawn ai in single player? For example have a plasma pistol spawn a grunt that will attack me.

Use trial and error, I know in Halo 1 you used the actor variant that may do the trick.

So what do i do to be able to spawn it through a weapon?

My guess is go to the weapon tag. Pick plasma pistol. Go to deppendencies and swap the proj, to the char that you want.

i don't know about all of the chars but you can spawn the bipd of a flood carrier and blow the carrier up and make it spawn the infectors with ai.

Is there any way to spawn a hunter with AI out of a gun? Do i just change the projectile to the character or is there a differnt way?

are you kidding me what map are they on and what is the exact name you just directly extracted the char? that may just be a hint to the big secret... so you use inscolence extract the char to example lockout change proj to the biped or char???!?! and shoot then kill it and the face hugger thigns come out or whatever with ai???

Well that's they only way you can make any ai spawn out of the gun unless someone found a way to spawn a char with ai out of the gun.
