Grove is set in the lush canyons of Halo, among long-abandoned Forerunner structures. The red side features high cliffs and a winding path over a mountain. The blue side features tunnels and a natural bridge. In the center is a waterfall and a strange Forerunner hydroprocessing structure. Tunnels lead to large caverns inside the cliffs.

This is the finished version of the public beta release grovebeta.

Special Thanks:
Tiamat for tags used in his ncyborg
Lightning and H2CE for teleporters and flag bases
dg945 for some tags, beta testing, concepts, ideas, and for being a great help in general
Neuro for his suggestions
Schwinnz for some of the inspiration
Wave of Lag for making me learn how to UV unwrap
All the people (except Masterz) who wanted their name in some random map

Arteen, please run away screaming before I am forced to kill you and steal your 1337ness. Wish I could model... Then my maps would be the best... Stupid lack of modeling skills...

It looks great, as I guess I already said, The bases do appear to be from timberland, and if they are, shame on you! Make your own bases. If not, they look too much like them, get more creative next time.

The um, pond? looks cool with the waterfall. Too bad I won't be able to see any of it until I pimp my other PC.

Thanks for the compliments! Actually, the entire level is custom-modeled. I did not rip anything from other levels (well, I ripped custom-made stuff from my own levels, but that doesn't count). As such, the bases were custom-modeled as well. If you compare the facades of my bases to those of Timberland and Sidewinder, you will notice they are slightly different.

Actually, I made these bases for the unfinished Snowtorn Cove, so they are half-Timberland and half-Wartorn-Cove. Considering the similarities between the overall setup of Wartorn Cove and Grove, I thought those bases were fitting. I guess they aren't original, but they are custom-made and do fit the map well in my opinion.

Excellent map. I liked the "infinite" holes, I actually thought I was looping through an endless teleporter script for a while..

Thanks! Actually, a couple people thought it was a script as well. The holes are just extremely long. :D

The Match I played with Arteen and HpC Yoshi was awsome. CTF is great on this map, because of the uber bases.

Ah tis but a bump! Where would we be without bumps?

Think about it! No speed bumps would mean guaranteed chaos!
