damn, i'm in algebra II this year as a junior! also, congrats on the freshman band and marching band, what instrument do you play?JimmyBeGood wrote:august 28th for me
im going to be a freshman in high school and im taking
hon alg 2
hon biology
hon american history
hon eng lit
spanish 1
freshman band
and after school i have marching band
also, after i fixed my schedule 4 times!!! (and it still isn't right) i currently have:
U.S. History
Algebra II
Symphonic Band (middle-level band)
Java programming (it's all year, and they cut the C++ class)
study hall
english III
spanish
i need to get networking, but it's the same time as band, so i'm going to have to drop symphonic band (which sucks), and pick up networking 3rd period and join concert band (ie: no skill band). but i guess it'll work out, i'll be the best person in band (most likely) and i can audition for wind ensemble (good band) during the semester exam. hopefully i'll get in, and get out of the freshmen cess-pit that is concert band. as i hear, some of them seriously don't know where they're instruments are...

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Some schools take Algebra II then Geometry, some take it Geometry then Algebra II. Rallos was in concert band last year, and our concert band honestly wasn't that bad. We had a pretty good band program though, we almost went to state marching competition on our first year of being varsity (last year). Rallos was GOING to be in symphonic band this year (we only had two bands because we started a new school, symphonic was the higher one) on an instrument I had never played before. They were only putting Rallos there because they didn't have any Tuba players. Unluckily for them, Rallos decided that band was a waste of time and quit and now they have no tuba players. That should teach them not to be so stupid when making new schools >_>[cc]z@nd! wrote:****, i'm in algebra II this year as a junior! also, congrats on the freshman band and marching band, what instrument do you play?

Violence is not the answer, it is the question. The answer is yes.

My school does Geometry then Algebra II then Trig. But we also have a different route (the one I took) where sophomore year you take Algebra II and Trig in one year (one per semester) then go onto Pre-Calc and Calculus. We're the only one in the district that does that.Rallos wrote:Some schools take Algebra II then Geometry, some take it Geometry then Algebra II.
Anyway, here's my schedule:
Honors Pre-Calc
Honors English
AP Physics
Civics/Economics
Chemistry
Teacher's Assistant for AP Computer Science
I'm also taking German at the local Junior College (they don't offer it at my school).
I can't wait.
