Ive got this one somewhere that says "fantastic" or something when you do it but i remember trying that the last time too and it didnt work. If i remember correctly i did back up the original maps and when i tried to put them back on the xbox it still said 'failed to load map'.
So thats why im thinking of a cache that has to be the same as the last known encryption for it to work.
Compressing maps?

update: Its still saying i failed to load the map, i deleted everything in the folders even though Z was the only one that had something in; it also had another folder in with no files inside.
Shall i try and encrypt with that fantastic programme and try again?
Edit: Nevermind that, i just tried to re-sign with that fantastic one and no luck, im still getting failed to load map, even when i clear the cache. Now im lead to the HDD space too small now unless anyone can think of anything?

Well ive got a HDD coming in the post which should come tomorrow so i'll set that up with slayers and that then once ive got my dash running i'll copy halo to the HDD and try with the modding again.
Ive just thought of something that might be the problem; seeming im in the UK and i have a PAL copy of the game would the encryptions be different to the NTSC version?
If so would i have to look for a map-signer that signs in PAL and not NTSC (thats if my theroy is correct)
