OKAY people that didn't understand Bobindashadows tutorial heres mine.

Install the solitude.cmp using the Converted Map Patcher. (Open Converted Map Patcher, then press add and select solitude.cmp. Click Maps Folder and choose your maps folder location. Press install.) Finally control click the solitude.cmp and press show package contents. Browse through until you see solitude.map, change it to infinity.map and drag that to your maps folder. Replace it and add the ppf! You are done!

omg thanks lil sokz now i can just rename the map and add the ppfs! yay! i can use cmp maps!

*sigh* You really have no idea how the CMP works, do you? You don't need to change the names of the maps in the CMP file. All you need to do is install it and presto! It works!

You don't need to pry open the CMP file and get the map out of it. All you need to do is install the map with CMP.
