Mod Chip?

Hey guys, I use to play halo for the PC. I was thinking of getting a mod chip, I was completely lost, then I remember this site. I am wonder what is a good modchip. Where could I buy it, I plan on using it for halo 2 and some other games. It does not need to have a switch because my xbox live ran out.
