halo 2 won't load maps

i got halo 2 on my hdd and it been working perfect until i used that halo 2 launcher now it loads up but won't load any maps. i deleted halo launcher and have tried reinstalling halo repeatedly but it still happens.

help plz

I get this sometimes too. Try putting in your Halo 2 Disk, launch the disk. Then, go and play a randome map (not one of the new maps though). Wait for it to finish loading (it may take a while, just wait). Then, once the map starts and you see that it's working, quit out of Halo 2, then go and launch Halo 2 on your HDD (make sure you take the disk out first though). It should work. If the maps still cease to load, try clearing all your cache files in your X, Y, and Z folders and then try Halo 2 on your HDD again. If it still doesn't work, keep trying it and messing around with it. Also, on a side note, what it the Halo Launcher?

that or get a map resigner. Google CMR_2 it is the one I use, it is extremely fast and easy to use!
