Childhood

The only books I've ever read on my own were the first Halo book, which I read last year while moving into my new house over the summer (nothing else to do), and some old 60 page Sonic The Hedgehog book that I read when I was 9 or 10. <_<

I dont know what childhood exaclty is defined in english but I think childhood doesn't finish when you are 15 years old XD

i always disliked reading. infact the only book i ever finished that was school required was the last one, and i forgot the name of it.. but it mentioned the coral island in the end and it was about being rescued off an island by the navy or something. some little kid went crazy and got a bunch of other little kids to follow him and they ended up killing all the other little kids that wouldnt follow them, except one.

I read all of the Redwall (hehehe) books multiple times. Same with Harry Potter and the Ender/Bean series.

while we're on the topic of things we are/have read, i've got this "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" book about some autistic kid i have to read for school, and by read for school, i mean finish up on it on the bus to school.

but stuff that i want to read: i've got "the Art of Deception" and "the Art of Intrusion" pdfs on mah pc right now. sweet stuff

I'm in the middle of reading 'Silence on the Wire' by Michal Zalewski (about Network Security).

I go through about 2 to 3 books a week(Books averaging 500 pages). I read atleast 3 hours every day. Its kind of sad that roughly 7/10 people graduating High School will never read another book again.

Yeah, it would be sad if that were true. Just another bogus statistic. I can guarantee that it is not true.
However it is sad that most kids these days can't do anything for over 30 seconds that doesn't have flashing lights or explosions to hold their attention.

speaking of books (again) i was goin through borders today, and saw "1337 h4x0r h4ndb00k" and "hacking for dummies" and nearly fell over laughing XD!
