Laggy forums

Is it just me or do sometime the forums get really laggy, like 30 secs to laod a page type deal and 4.2 kbps downloads ( i have cable). Anyone kow whats going on when this happens, and anyway to fix it, but it only hapens for short times, like 5 mins or so.

The forums simply slow down at times for various reasons.

Cable has the tendency to slow down in high traffic time of the days, especially on weekdays. Add that factor in, along with the traffic of the site, and the information it tries to loadfrom the page, can make it lag.

its not my cable, I've gone to other sites to check, but it comes up uber-fast like it normaly does, and I go back to halomods and its still slower than dail-up. btw once it happened and I noticed that the file that I uploaded had gotten downloaded 9005 times. I know it didn't, and the forums were real laggy then. which is interesting
