PPF patch
I get the patch from the game copied to the hdd, right? Where is the PPF patch, is it defualt.xbe?
ok a ppf patch is a file that says the differences from one file to another(i think)
so if you have a ppf patch that is suppose to be aplied to zanzibar.map, open up dothalo and then map tools, then apply patch, pick your patch then the map, then ok, then sign it and it's changed to the map the ppf was made for!

ok lets say you find a mod on files.halomods.com/forums and the download for the map is in the form of a .ppf. You look at what map the mod is for, let's say it's a mod i made for zanzibar. I can't host the whole modded zanzibar so i make a patch and host it for you to download. You download it, you open dothalo you goto windows/map tools (at top)
then you click on apply ppf patch. There are to boxes. In the "orginal map box" put your zanzibar.map. In the ppf patch box put the ppf. Then click apply, then it will ask to resign, resign. And your done!

no no no! I think youre very confused, a ppf is just a patch it can be for any map, what im saying is lets say you find a nice mod for lock out or anyother mod, it might come in the form of a ppf, then you do the steps i said before becept you click the map the patch is for and the ppf.TotalEclipse wrote:so now the problem is to find a zanzibar map patch, download, and I can use my mods on Zanzibar, right?

Thank you for showing me how to set up the mod. If I make alterations to another map or to a patched map, how do I get the new mods to work? I downloaded a Modzibar sppf file. Now I am playing with the mods. I just edited it to my liking on Dothalo, now how to I create a sppf file so I can use the modz i created?
