I don't like that picture of me. It's not respectful. Then again, I was like 11-12 and I thought it was disgusting. My dad also had to take the picture at exactly the right time...

Yeah, that's the funny part. Here's a perfect example (courtesy of Dan!!):
I guess it's just that Owl's seem to have somewhat human-like expressions that make it funny.
