I suggested that, it didn't work apparently.

Ooh, and the AR, suggestions:
-Have pyroman give it a longer barrel ala Halo 3 (I suggested this to him, so he better be doing it :P )
-Clone the SMG, and replace it with this.
-Make it so when a game profile says default weapon, it spawns you with it.
-This way teh stock SMG is still available.
-Inject Halo 1's sounds for it, but change the pitch to match the new barrel accordingly. And for some reason, I can't remember if a longer barrel gives a weapon a higher or lower pitch. You cna use Audacity to change the pitch.
-With the longer barrel, it's time for better accuracy, nothing dramatic, jsut a bit of an improvement of the SMG.
-Let's give it say 1.6 times the damage of a single SMG.

Should make the game shockingly balanced.
ok halo1 sounds seem to be good.

And here I thought you were never going to remake this map. ;> Awesome job getting the lightmap to work. It looks beautiful so far. I'm looking forward to this update.

Dang, I wanted a Halo 3 assault rifle. With the level barrel guard, longer barrel, cocking handle. A la CMT's. That way you make it fire differently and justify it... Too late now that it is UV'd.

What's gonna be done about the ammo counter? Cna you pull that off? Or are we gonna have a cracked screen in its place?

Maybe its just a normal AR :P

and DWells55 its probably best to use the BR's ammo counter but it'd look fucked yes

Yeah, but the Halo 3 one is way cooler. And then it could be more powerful and accurate and make a very balanced spawn weapon.

BTW, cool to see multiple GAMA guys pitching in to make a l337 mod.

Does everything have collision on this one? Cause on the last one, I would grenade jump on the edge to get on the bar things on the sides of the bases. In the first one, there was a deathzone in a part of it, and there was another part with no collision =/

Looks good so far though.

this mod is 1337 to the very max. can't wait for that AR. hopefully you guys don't release this at the same time as my mod cuz there's no way my MG6-5 can stand a chance against that AR
