Aww, not fair. Is this topic still around or been deleted/locked? Because I have a fairly good knowledge of everything in this world and I could spice things up a bit. Plus, I like the people at this site compared to other forums. The people here are more mature and the Admins keep a close eye on things.multi-genre wrote:No, you missed our political stage, and I DONT miss that one.

What do you think the cafe is for anyway. >_>
Check the topics that were made before the Cafe in the News forum (the old cafe XD) (if they're there still), they're all political. The offtopic talk that led to the Cafe being made was purely political. This state of lockage is unacceptable. >=(
For shame, for shame.
On the other hand, thank god the NK topic hasn't been locked.
*Dan!! crosses his fingers for that one*
I change my favorite time to when HMC started out. Because we actually had a bunch of members then, it was like this Cafe, except, you know, friendly to all discussion. Now it's kind of a 8 person spam fest. ;__; RIP HMC

My feelings exactly. So the political discussions get a little out of control, what's wrong with a little (perhaps fervent) discussion? Cuda suggested we opened up a separate forum for political discussion, but that was dropped on the grounds that this is a Halo forum. I really enjoyed the political discussions, it's good to express your opinions.Dan!! wrote:OSHI- PEOPLE EXPRESSING OPINIONS! GET DOWN!th3_halord wrote:Here's one.noxiousraccoon wrote:Aww, not fair. From what I can tell, it was dropped on the grounds that "it's not a bad idea, but it's a bad idea." Or as RaVNz puts it "It's not necessarily a bad idea, but it's an accident waiting to happen."The_Hushed_Casket wrote:Cuda suggested we opened up a separate forum for political discussion, but that was dropped on the grounds that this is a Halo forum.
It was all discussed here. I still don't consider that discussion over.
As for the Bush topic: GO FOR IT. A good way to make something acceptable is to try for it. I think maybe maybe we can actually have a reasonable discussion that won't end up in lockage.
I hope.
No, I wish ;___;
It's hard to get on topic in a one-post-and-leave type of topic anyway =/

lmao nice job phenom.
best times were between 2003 and early to mid 2005 when things got done and were good too and people put effort into their work and could take the critizism without having a panic attack
worse times are now where there's all these inmature preteens who put absolutly no work/pride into their "work" and get offended by someone tell them the truth about the work they did...
all the good people have left collage or join the military (good luck kornman, see ya there in 2 years :p)
