RTH problems

Post by Twinbird24 »

Ok, got XIG succesfully installed onto my Xbox using Debug Installer. I started XIG on my Xbox and it booted up my debug bios (which is XBMC). I then go onto my Computer and run XIG, once open, I test my debug and screen capture it, everything checks out OK. I then start up Halo 2 (making sure that I renamed the auto updates default.xbe to renamed.xbe and putting the CDs default.xbe into the folder with the renamed.xbe). When I start Halo 2, I don't see any profiles (except defualt, but it freezed no matter what I press) or Halo 2 doesn't start at all. I have a 1.6b (I think) hard modded Xbox running EvoX as the default bios (not the debug). >This< is the tutorial I used. When I load load up XIG on my Xbox and the XBCM bios loads, I go into my games folder and I see no games, so I have to load it using my Px-HDD Loader in my apps folder. But I don't think this makes a bifferent. I only got Halo 2 to load once in debuf (but then it just froze), after that, it kept giving me the Your disk may be dirty or damaged message. I already read the thing about the profiles problem and stuff, so that's not my problem. Thanks a bunch!!!

connect to your xbox with entity before you choose a profile, that should stop the freezing, it does for me.

you need an earlier version of xbdm.dll. I had the same problem and i changed to version 3944 and it worked flawlessly even with update 1.1. The reason is normal xbox's only have 64 megs of ram and halo overwrites the memory of the xbdm.dll and it crashes because of this. But the earlier version doesnt use as much ram as the new won so halo 2 doesnt completely overwrite its memory. Just switch the old one with the new one on your xbox dont reinstall xdi because it will give you the Bad Checksum error. I hope this helped a bit
pm me if you need any more info
