In general, they make stuff go towards enemies.
The angles are how close you need to be aiming for it to shoot towards a target. The magnetism makes a projectile follow (like the needler).

I see. I pretty much know what auto-aim is now.

But there's also a homing property. Wouldn't that be the same as magnetism?

What's deviation?

However in the original tags for HMT, there is a homing option for projectiles.
I believe you can change the material responses of the projectile to enhance that, or increase the rate of fire and spread if you are trying to enhance your accuracy, but even then, sometimes a mod like that wouldn't sync over an online game.

yes, but what their refering to has nothing to do with the projectile. Only the weapon.

in halo pce the auto-aim works, i have tried when i first got halo pc, magnitism angle and range, i have no clue, i just make them the same as my autoaim values, and deviation i think is the offset from the node the projectil spawns.

The deviation makes the projectiles fly where your target reticle is pointed. Don't change it.

Magnetism/autoaim makes the bullets hit the enemy, even if your target reticle isn't exactly on them. The bigger the number, the farther away you can have your misses count as hits.

The range is basically how far away from the target you can be, but still have autoaim in effect. Measured in game units. 2.5 game units = radius of a frag grenade.
