That would have been 1337!

People like those on YTMND are just trying to make this look like some global threat by showing us some of the refferals and theories, and passages from the bible. Which is stupid, the bible has so many passages I dont think anyone could keep up with them, its just coincidence that one of thier "misterious" codes landed on a passage number.

This whole thing, like THC said, is just some marketing thing. They want to make it look like some suspicious thing, they set a counter on it. Reason for doing that is counters usually drag attention and bring many questions. And most people cant bear questions not being answered so, they keep going to the site, and more misterious things keep popping up like X13600 Imminent. Do you know what the X13600 is? No, which is what grabs you. For all we know its a new color of crayon or something.

And another thing that bugs me, on the YTMND it said "All these dots arent in the mountains" and blah blah blah. Well, how many times have you been backpacking/camping and suddenly, in the middle of nowhere, theres a car dealership just RIGHT there in front of you?

Conspiracys in which you know little information about = waste of time.

Back to the refferals, I highly doubt google, ebaumsworld, the reel big fish board, and gamefaqs are behind a plot to destroy the world.

This is all one big heap of nonsence.

Another solution would be to look at all these codes and apply some cryptography to them.

Edit: I applied the first rule in cryptography to the posted code in the message, which is to find out what the characters used are and see how many times they show up, if one or more character shows up a lot more than others than you may have a case of simple swapping, where the ones that show up a lot more are vowels and so forth, this is what I found:

pfft, it's advertising. interesting, maybe, but curiosity killed the cat, and got you hooked on watching that timer. i say it's nothing.

besides, as the wiki said, it has viruses on it. yeah, sure sounds like a great site plotting the apocalypse to me
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

I remember this time 18 months ago I thought MY PC was fine. Until I had to format the C drive and reinstall Windows... Don't let your virus definitions go 6 months out of date, kiddies. Even on dialup.

My PC had been a bit on the slow side for weeks. I put it down to the fact it's a 4-year-old shitbox... but by that Christmas, my PC was so stuffed, all I could do to fix it was format. Thank God I didn't have any hugely important files on C:. Now I have stuff spanned across all 4 partitions though, so I really need to sart backing up...

X13600 sounds like an ATI Radeon card that's so outdone that it's not even going to be released to the public :P

Lol, to me, it sounds like a boat, though. Apperantly, they are going to be terrorizing the world with yellow bricks. This case is closed. lawl
