Whats coming out of my speakers

Post by jks »

New bands I've been listening to:

In Flames (my new favorite band)
Soilwork
Ra
Deftones
Avenged Sevenfold
SOil
Taproot
SOAD

Basically anything coming out of the ChroniX radio station on iTunes, in the hard rock/metal section. Feel free to list what you listen to.

Infected Mushroom
The Crystal Method
The Chemical Brothers
Hive

Although, I have a very wierd way of listening to music, and that is this: When I get a new CD, or new music, I will listen to it over and over, it will be the only band/CD I can listen to, until I get a new one, then that is the only thing I can listen to, and so on and so on.

other than that, i listen to slayer, cannibal corpse, and basically any metal/rock. also, the techno tunes a guy at school makes (that pwn) and occaisonally i browse xm radio via their online music streamer.

I would list, but it would take too long right now.

Let's just say I listen mainly to mainstream rock and rap. =\

Cake rocks. 'Comfort Eagle' is probably my favorite song of theirs.

Cool. I like "Never There" and "Going the Distance." I've never heard "Desert Eagle." I'll try to hear it.

I love them too.

It seems I like a genre called "melodic death metal" In Flames and Soilwork fit into this category, where it is just a lot of screaming with melodic guitar over tones, very cool, I never pay any attention to the vocals though.
