[mod/challenge]RA1N's vehi challenge. Everyone is Invited!
I would likely just duplicate one that's already there, then rename it. The thing that I haven't been able to figure out is where it's defined which bone the marker is attached to (if indeed it IS attached to a bone and not just the model as a whole).
I believe that markers are attached to particular bones, because if I move a vehi's hull bone, everything goes with it (the markers follow the bone). It basically amounts to moving the vehicle's spawn. Also, I attached the warthog's turret to one of the markers on the steering wheel, left_hand or something like that, and the turret moved from side to side with the steering wheel. It would be nice to be able to attach markers and therefore turrets to other bones, eh, Xzodia?

its occured to me that this statement is wrong however it made me take a look at the weap ifp/xml and i have discovered a truth which is a bit of a no brainer whoever made the xml made the proj choice an enum with just the options for the 1st and 2nd chunks(option 0 = chunk 0 & option 1 = chunk 1) as soon as i saw this i knew it was wrongxzodia wrote:you can add as many proj spawns as you want cause the dep is in a reflexive or an nested reflexive (cant remeber which) but anyway just add some chunks with entity
its not an enum, its a short chunk ref such as you find in the jmad for animation calls

Well AI isn't easy, its not like you get 5 nerds, coke-a-cola, and a bunch of computers and 2 days later theres AI. Its more like 50 Nerds, Cocaine, and Supercomputers, then 2 weeks later you get AI.

if you make the tank autofire, and fire it while u drive the tank, it actually surges forward a bit too, so has something to do with the tank recoil or somethingSnaku wrote:Oh, by the way, I'm not sure why, but when you fire the tank cannons, the vehicle surges forward.
