Well anyways, Fusion looks awesome(especially night version :D ) I put up the poll to see which is the favorite, hold on let me put all of these on the front page

P.s, whats drift car version?

Not sure if we are allowed to have 2 entries, if not just ignore this. I made another track called Big Air (I actually thought of a name this time!)

Be prepared to spend a long time playing this map, because some of the jumps in this are HARD. The first couple jumps are easy and as you get further along the track, they get harder they get! The last jump is nearly impossible!
I actually figured out the Devcam!!! My pictures kinda suck though, I can't figure out how to get it so they aren't all grey-colored.

You can just download the source map -Treetoad- made. It's alot easier than making you own. It already has hog spawns, bridge spawns, and respawn points.

I applied the source filed to my map, I can see how the player spawns are moved up top, but I still dont get how to get all the gates to make the track.

EDIT-Ok I figured out how to split them up now, Is there a way to get rid of those block pieces on the end of the ramps?

2 questions I really need help with, 1 is, how do I remove the block pieces at the end of the ramps. 2 is, how do I make the ramps collide. Im puttin them insite eachother but they keep going in top or below, they will not collide.

You cannot remove the block peices, as they are part of the gate. If you look at other peoples tracks the blocks are on those also. If you use Darkmatter, then you can move the gates much more precisely. It will only go and and down a tiny bit at a time, so you can make your track less bumpy.

I put together my track using Entity and it looks a little bumpy but defaintly driveable. But when I FTP it to my xbox and run it on Halo 2 the gaps are huge. I can drive a warthog right under the where to 2 ramps meet. Can anyone tell me why this would happen?

what do I add the chunks too,Is it the gate in machs or in collections,Exactly.Whe I open up entity I got to Mach then Containment base gate ad right click Add chunks.

Are your track peices out of place? IF they are, you changed more than one angle. For each bridge peice you can only change one angle by pressing either Shift, Ctrl, or Alt. If you change more than one angle then your track will be off. If your track is not out of place, then I have no idea.

You don't need to add chunks to anything, just apply the source patch that -Treetoad- supplied in the first post. It has player spawns, gate spawns, and hog spawns, so all you need to do is move the gates into a track.

Fusion may be winning in the poll, but forget about the poll, he messed up. The poll doesn't have all the maps on it. (My second track, Big Air, isn't on it.)

Well in Entitiy everything shows fine, all ramps meet close to perfect and iit looks like it will be fine. But when I load the map on Xbox there is massive gaps between all of the ramps. No gaps horizontaly, but verticlly. Some drop down alot and others raise up alot. I changed lots of the angles using Alt, Shirt and Ctrl and I also hit up page and down page to adjust the height of the object. I dont see how that can affected how it loads up in the game though. But you know me then me so I take ur word for it. Do you have AIM or MSN. Maybe I can talk to you on there so you can explain in more detail.

Entity's BSP Viewer still isn't perfected so things tends to get out of order, only... if you change the pitch and the roll however... the x, y, z, and the yaw are at its perfect. so as long as u use only those, ur mod should come out fine.. that is why u do not find any "flat" surface on my fusion mod :wink:

geez. thanks lol, u just need to know where to go, as long as u do that, u will find the track very easy to drive. i make it i guess what u said "confusing" b/c i wanted to provoke some challenges as most tracks is a bit too linear :p . but i do hope some people are actually enjoying my track...

so what to you recomend I do to make my track come out the best I can? If I see one part is to high on the xbox I just just adjust it off that?

Also, I tried using Dark Matter because someone said it is easier to make adjustments with it. I select the same stuff I did in Entity and then click Raw Data Editor on the bottom and all I get is a blackscreen. I tried dragging around for an image of the map but i found nothing. I have Single player shared, shared and mainmenu so i know that isent a problem.
