kinda complex issue huh? DM's perfect for correct placement..but it screws ur map... but entity doesn't.... but not good for correct placement... hmm.. what to do... what to do....

Hey guys, heres an idea to perfect your map( unless you are using teleporters :( ) If you get the general map in entity but it seems too bumpy when you test it, open it back up in darkmatter. It is slow, but its good for perfecting things.

And P8ntballer24, You probably haven't even dled the package so stop saying how easy it is. theres more than just added chunks...

Nevermind I just fixed a few of the ramps that I messed up. Now I just gotta think of a name. :?

um.... what if i just moved the teleporter (from the map itself) in entity (not adding any) then opened the map up in dm to "perfect" it?

Here is my track, Racetrack (I couldn't think of a name, if anyone has a gooed name I can use tell me :P )
It is pretty easy to complete there are a few sharp turns and 3 or 4 jumps. A few of the jumps are hard because they are either crooked or a small gap to clear (I think it's actually harder to clear the small gaps).

Dude, Its easy. Adding chunks and moving them and adding player spawns. Escpecially for P8ntballer, he Made halo derby :wink:

whatsup with all the warthogs spawning.. its useless.. besides you can use those chunks for more bridges... if you want unlimited warthogs just set the spawning time to 1 and make 2 / 3 places where it spawns. that way you never run out of cars, and you dont have a ridiculous amount of warthogs. :wink:

maybe ill have a shot at this once . lol, i like the one who made this up. its pretty good competition 8)

Im not saying adding chunks isn't easy, just saying theres more to my patch than that. Anyways, ignore the package, I doubt you really need it :wink:

Edit: If people would have listened to ignore it if you don't need it, I probably wouldnt be adding more :D . good job guys

DM has problems too with placement and along it screws the Objective reflexive but you can use High6's teleporter adder to replace the spawn points back.. I found that out about the placement in Halo Derby but it's not as bad ad Entity just wait for the new release :wink:

Apply the .sppf to a clean copy of Containment. Open Containment in Entity. Click on the sbsp tag. Open the raw data editor. Move around the bridges to form a racetrack. Once you have made you're racetrack, test it and then make a patch for it. Add as an attachment to Halomods in the form of a .rar or .zip file. Hope that it's good.

when I said rar'd or zipped, I really just meant compressed. Although WinRAR is preferred.

P.s. Hey guys I DID make Leap of Faith 2, just tweaking it up some :wink:

Leap of Faith 2!!!

Description:
If your'e like me then you probably loved leap of faith more than ost other maps... thats why I decided to recreate a longer, better version of it. This new course has 4 jumps, not including the end. I made the 1st one hardest so you wouldn't be dissapointed if you fell later in the course. Trust me, It's a lot of fun :D .
