So.. I decided to open locout in a hex editor and after a little bit i found this nice and pure

this sux..i tried deleting it (gravity) and my map doesnt load..however i did get the low gravity down pretty well.. and i got some lightning on the map too.. when im doen withthe map ill send u a ppf platesofpaper.

o btw the im goin blind thing was good well ya off to finish teh map

lightning in space? O.o thats crazy!
the mod sounds cool though id like to see it when its done. Over at haloplugins they seem kind of baffled about this so recreating the effects would be the best bet as to get the actual 'low gravity' thing going.

Not sure how much it'll help, but in the snd! tag, there's sound\ambience\spacestation\muffled_explosions_spacestation that sure sounds promising, but I can't test to see if it's the right sound right now. Attach it to the grenade explosion effect. I'll post more as I find 'em.

EDIT: This looks even more promising:
effects\scenarios\objects\solo\spacestation\ss_exterior_gun_fire.effe
