I have seen some of those before; they're all amazing. I didn't realize they were by the same person.

Before you read my post, let me say they are truely amazing, but...

After spending ten minutes looking at them, I'm actually thinking it would be too hard to do it.
One method that you could try:
Set up a digital camera at the correct angle
Hook it up to an LCD TV (so as not to create an obstruction on the sidewalk)
Get a marker, preferably one that can easily be washed off of a TV screen.
Draw the outline on the TV and just go from there.

Yah, it would take a veeeeeery long time and you would have to be a skilled artist, but making them appear to be real from a specific angle? meh.

What's amazing about the ones like the Coke bottle is that he actually gave it a light shadow and reflection on the ground.

I was like... what the hell. Then I realized it was a drawing. The last one is the best.

Yep, last one is the best.

But... one thing that has been bugging me: The other coke bottle. No, not the one in the first picture. The one in the pool with the girl sticking her leg up in the air. That coke bottle. Was it the artists drink at the time, or was it actually drawn in like the flip-flops? I can't tell.

I think the cokes on the bottom left are real. If you look on the off angled one, you'd see it stretching over the water. Plus, the lighting is different.
