Adding user created maps 2 xbox

I'm not sure i understand.
I have halo on my XBOX hd.
I want to add a user created map.
Is this possible, what do i have to do?
Please explain deeply i'm a noob at this.

i dont know how on halo but for halo 2 there is a full tutorial at www.halokit.com forums>tutorials>halo 2
