doh I didn't realize there was a banshee barrier.
I heard that there was a physics model for the level imbedded in the sbsp tag.

Also after the banshee barrier you would hit the level bsp

Will this edit Vertical banchee barriers too? After you cross the metropolis bridge, for instance, there's a barrier in the tunnell.

Anyway, this looks (generic cuss word here) sweet! Good work!

I just tested my theory a bit, and I found out that the value for the banshee floor is right before it (offset 44). I haven't found the offsets for the walls yet.

this could come in handy......could i apply it to my bsp conversion to make a banshee barrier? So u just imput the height "z" coordinate of how high u want it and negatives make it go down? what is the default of a SP bsp map?

ok, on sys link with a modded XB hosting and a unmodded one as guest, the unmodded xbox can ride in the passenger seat of the raptor (vehicle in my sig)... but if hes in a banchee, trying to fly up there on his own, he is still affected at the orignal point....

also, i set the barrier to 50, and its still at the same hight as when i set it to 0,... sure its higher than usual, but any ideas? it there a maxxed out point or something, where it wont move any further?
You're probably hitting the end of the map not the banshees barrier.

Yeah just set it to the z cord were you want the barrier to be, there isnt really a default all maps are different.

Hey I haven't really done anything with hex forever but can u just null out a float with f's in hex or is that only for dependencies and other things that reference something?

Relic doesn't have a barrier by default, since it's not meant to have banshees. You're running into the level's ceiling.

Relic has one right near the top of the tower, Terminal has one at about the middle of "the great ramp".

It would be amazing if this were the only tag in all the maps, single player and multiplayer, but its one of the many tags in many maps, and one of the more complex tags on top of that, if people had all been looking for this purposely in the bsp the whole time then it would not have taken nearly as long.

Are you sure it's a banshee barrier on Relic? I can't remember for sure, but I thought I actually hit the ceiling in Relic. The BB isn't something you hit; it's more of a force that pushes you back.

This is an amazing app! I can't belive this! I was begining to wonder how I'd modify the Banshee barrier. 10/10...

Is it possible to update this app to add/remove Invisable walls & Kill Barriers?

"That'd be Super sweet!"
