Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

its still an old weapon which is what we dont want. if our military starts to use muskets again that doesnt make it a new age weapon...

and i still have to check the autoback folder i keep forgetting >.<

you know you are actually modeling an AK-47 AKM?
(avtomat kalasjnikov Modern)
it's a bit lighter (old one is 4.3 kilo's, this one 4, 13).
and the handle is, as in your model a bit more cubic.

btw,i am also modeling an AK 47 (don't worry for competition, mine is not even half as good :P), but i'm wondering if you could give me some advice

we're making all of our weapon content as accurate (yet balanced) as possible. the models are to be very precise, even on details such as the iron sights. there is much we have planned, you guys will be impressed

Agreed, synthetics don't look so hot on the AK, in the same way wood would look out of place on an M16.
