Yeah, they were laying it on pretty thick. At least the staff of Bungie have senses of humor.

So that's the Arc that Guilty Spark was talking about!
Will the Arbiter be playable in Halo 3? Will there be a new playable character? Is there a future for Johnson? All these questions will be anwsered.
What ark?!?!?!?!

i see no freaking ark... U tell me where u dummy dum monkey dummers.... see a freaking cuase i dont see one!

The Ark of the Covenant is the best known item in the Tabernacle, renowned for its mysterious powers against the enemies of Israel (I Samuel chapters 5 & 6).

The Ark of the Covenant resided in the Holy of Holies, the innermost room of the Tabernacle. Access was only permitted once per year, on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). Access was restricted to one person only, the high priest. He had to come into the Holy of Holies with the blood of a goat, on behalf of his own and the people of Israel's sins.

The Ark itself was a small box made of acacia wood, overlaid with gold. It measured 1.15 metres long, 0.7 metres wide and 0.7 metres high. It was carried by two long bars, also made of acacia wood overlaid with gold.

i think that The ark in halo is gonna be connected to the real ark of the covenant i will edit that real quick ERGM!

I am not familiar with that Biblical stuff, but if it's true, I had no idea Halo had so much religious allegory.

Yes, the Ark of the Covenant does have ties to ancient Hebrew religion and culture. It can all be found in the Old Testament, right down to the dimensions of the ark, because God told Moses the exact dimensions.

Maybe they could be going with the idea that every prophecy has a second fulfillment[?].

It would be strange to see something like that. Saying that MC is a high priest, and a dead grunt equal to all of mans imperfections?

Sure.

I think that it would be a little off.
no.

Halo 3 isn't the last game in the series, bungie lies. They said they were going to do something other than Halo, but yet they showed Halo 3. So there will be a Halo 4. :)

Anyway don't get of topic and start talking about Halo 4 now, okay?

Good grief people, there will not be a Halo 4!

Bungie clearly stated that Halo 3 will be the conclusion to the series. What they did not say is that there may be a new beginning to the series. So there may be a Halo: The Beginning (It'd be something like Halo -1 ;)) or something like that, but no Halo 4.

Yeah, I hope they make a game about reach and stuff. They could call it Halo Zero.
