model question

Post by shonuf »

Hello i recently got a PPF for Zanzibar with some very cool skins and projectiles

A particular skin caught my eye and it was for the warthog,

What i would like to know is this, how would i go about putting the warthog model from the modded Zanzibar to say Coagulation?

Do i just use Insolence and drag and drop?

Moved to the Halo 2 section. As for answering your question, I believe it is simply extracting the raw model and injecting over the model you are trying to replace in the other map, although I may be wrong.

Use insolence to drag and drop the mode or vehi it self, then make sure the dependency's and lone id's for the mode's are the mode of the transfered one.

If you try to drag and drop an existing model (or vehicle or pretty much anything, I believe) Insolence won't do it. When I wanted to drag my motorcycle into another map, I had to rename every single tag... well, at least everything I had altered.
If you really want to go that route, it should be as simple as renaming the bitmap and dragging it into your map, then going into the hog's shader and swapping the bitmap for the new one you injected.
