did you guys notice that when there was halo 2 you could never find the assault rifle? it was all just the battle rifle? and now theyre bringing it back in halo 3 now why is that??????? maybe bungie is trying to tell us something

maybe bungie is trying to tell us something
Or they realized that everyone liked halo 1 weapons too? Probably from the thousands of emails they get a day on the subject.

mattae reskinned the AR about a months ago and it looks rather similar to the one from halo 3 >_> we thought it was kinda cool

I doubt they took the BR out. Either they swapped it with the SMG or just added it. Too early to tell, need Bungie's word.

Bungie can't take the BR out. They know that if they do, people wold be pissed. And Bungie knows that the BR is one of their best weapons.


EDIT To the last quote above: What is the easter egg? Is it the grunt looking thing on the sign in the beginning?

umm the br is the equivelant to the pistol in halo 1, overpowered and overused.

running to get a br as fast as possible at the start of a game is not my idea of fun, i would be glad to see the AR back or atleast see the BR dumbed down quite a bit.
