I Know This Is A Bump But Its On Topic And I Think Its Better Than A New Topic,

Anyway As I Said In The First Post This Is Really Happening, Just Like 3 Minutes Ago I Say A Commercial Telling People To These Chips Injected Into Their Pets from a vet, And That All It Is, Is A Small Shot That Puts The Chip Below The Skin. It Was Something Called Like Dog Home or something stupid like this. I was shocked when i saw that.

it'sa good idea, it violates no freedom as long as there are no alarms associated with it. I would hardly call it an invasion of privacy, it doesn't track what you are doing, jsut where you are. If you don't want people knowing you were at a whorehouse then their is a very simple solution to that....

it could also be usefull for solving ALOt of the murders that go un-solved each year. simply pull up a list of who was nearby, and bam, you got your suspects.

if you put an alerm in it for illegal border-crossing, it would stop alot of that shit as well. (imagines a B-52 dumping them into foriegn water supplies)

:p

and only certain convicts should be implanted. not every speeder should have an implant wasted on them. volunteers should also have the option of getting one, but with their written consent

that's how it should work.

It is already possible to get an RFID chip implanted beneath your skin for something, like a key card you would rather not carry around or for medical information, this is already happening.

Second off, that would really hurt. Overall, I think this would be a good idea. It would make it a lot easier to trace criminals, and it should be mandatory that everyone gets it.
NO, even though your entitled to your thoughts freely
it is wrong to be placed in humans, we are not animals, we do not need to be tracked around like wild out of control people, yes it would help with crimes and such but dont you think that it would be a little to weird to become someone who is being traced all the time? Having little freedom?
Actually we technically are 'animals'. Just not wild ones (although in some cases, that's debateable *looks at crazy friends*).

But no, this should NEVER be mandatory. EVER.

why not? what privacy does it invade? it's not as if i'd be able to open up Google Earth and see where you are.
