thats been tried it doesnt work the proj goes straight through you

Yeah, I was tired and didn't really think before I asked that question. Of course it wouldn't work for a grappling hook. Too bad, though.

K, I applied this earlier, and the map was loading, but the timer got down to 0, then it froze, any reason why? :?

i played this on xlink and for some reason.. like 2 minutes into the game, the people i play with say that the game freezes and throws them back into the main menu... any idea why? and perhap fix this system link bug?

There is a bug with the weapon in system link, but not what you're describing. I lack the knowledge to fix it unless someone else would like to give it a shot.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the meta itself is built right but if someone would like to look it over and recheck everything that would be nice :). I 'borrowed' a biped tag and injected the weapon over that so I wouldn't be suprised if thats whats causing the problem. It might be better to just externalize the trigger and projectile chunks in a separate tag, leaving the original weapon intact. Maybe shade could give it a go as I have no experience in syslinking other than breaking it :D

Heh, I was just looking throught the [weap] tag and the [vehi] tag , and there are things there that shouldn't be there, like there a re scenarios\something\something as a vehicle, it's really weird :?

Why are those there?

This is sweet dude, now it seems like when we try and destroy a vehicle like when we use R the vehicles can now defend themselves!

They're just wierd names for what is actually there. Not sure if he did it deliberately to make it hard to suss out his mod or if he had another reason.

There isn't anything that's not supposed to be there. It's probably because you're using DotHalo instead of ADI or some other app.

Ha, you're right.. That's weird, I thought all these programs were the same...(ADI and Dothalo)

still don't understand how the projectile actually hits the vehicle, if it's +1000 and -25...

I've always wanted to do this, and even tried a couple times. All my friends are too scared to mod, so we can only play stuff they are affected by. This rocks man!

so how bouts a tutorial on how you made this? also a nicely done custom model for this would be nice, hell i would add it into my selectable weapons in my mainmenu if it looked good enough. good job.
