Half Life 2 map making noob

I dont no if this is the right place to ask this question, but I have no other forum that I can ask. Um dose anybody have a list or know what I need to make my own Half Life 2 level. Thanks.

You need a legitimate copy of Half-Life 2. Then in Steam go to the 'Tools' tab and double click the 'Source SDK.' After it downloads you can open it and from there open 'Hammer' where you can make maps. For more info you can check out the Source SDK, for a guide to making you first level, click here.
