Ya. me too! And this program also does not support any pics that are added in for modded maps either. Or at least they don't show up for me in this program.

If you go to one of the stock maps and hit Save Changes while on that map itll erase the name and description.

I was hoping this was a one button deal basically... but really all I can get this program to do is grab the scenario (which you still have to HEX EDIT in the orriginal map in the first place... that would be a nice feature *hint hint*) The little bonus features work perfectly and all that, but the main purpose of this app doesnt for me.

Things to add to the app:
  • Scenario Editing for a map.
    Secondary Heavy Vehichle on off thing (like you have with the no weapon thing)
    Importing images to the main menu.
    Have it save your name and description. (did you have a .dll file or something along with the program shade? because all we have to download is an EXE... could that be why yours works and ours doesnt?)
I feel like a real dick just trying to boss you around like this, but really if you get into programming for a job, and you are creating programs for a certain company, this is pretty much what will happen. You will give them a program and if they dont like it, they will tell you why and they will tell you whats wrong.

I appreciate these programs immensely because you really do save us all a lot of time. Thanks again Shade45.

Sory if this has already been asked, but I'm tired and don't feel like reading four pages - does this have your secondary vehicle h4x?

You dont have to hex edit anything. just rename the map.

You have to hex the scenario of the map you're adding...

Hmm...when I made the Legendary Mappack, all i did was change the scenario name in dothalo, then rename the map to match that scenario...

Yah, I'm pretty sure it doesnt really matter, i think that if they're different in game though, then it messes up if you try to play people with a different scenario name inside map.

yea.... dothalo does the hex editing for you, I was saying that this program should do that aswell

I'm pretty sure he meant change the scenario name for the main menu, so then it looks for that map name in the maps folder, not that map scenario.

You should add an option to replace the preview pictures of the maps ;)

All the bugs will be fixed in the next version and ill make it so the scenario name you enter in the main menu is also written to the map your adding that way you dont have to hex edit it anymore. and ill see if i can get importing/exporting of images to work.

Nice tool its already been in handy.

Semi off topic, but u should make a main menu mod where you can do haxor stuff like

-add to spawn time 0 seconds, 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 minutes, 4 minutes etc.....

-add to bomb arm time, 0,1,2,3 seconds

-add to score to win,2,4,300, 350, 400

-add extra balls in oddball (LOL)

-add more walking speeds in juggernaut (if possible) uber hacker fast, terribly slow

That would be sick if you could make that mod i have no clue how to but this is just a request/suggestion

Keep up the good mods i like ur main menu stuff!

I think he means so that you can change that option in the actual gametype editor screen in the game...

Yea thats what im trying to say....

I know how to use sav3r and it works great, thought the features of sav3r would be cool in the main menu...

or what else would be cool if someone made a tag to edit that lets u edit the "silly tag" in the tag editor.

so in order to have a new map, like a custom modded map, you can edit the main menu name in this app.. but you have to edit map scenario name in the hex workshop, correct?

if this is true, the v2 would be awsome to have this option, so we won't need the hex workshop anymore for the main menu related purpose. :P
